We have seen enough suffering the past year and a half. With the #CovidVaccine and now the booster, we can protect ourselves, our families and our communities. I’m ready to get out of the darkness of #Covid. I got #Boosted! #GetVaccinated#MedTwitter#HopeShot
Congratulations to my friend @ReverendWarnock on his re-election to the U.S. Senate, and a special thank you to Georgia voters and organizers who worked tirelessly to make this victory possible.
Reading this important book by @LDamour and as a mother of a teen girl and high school youth leader, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Love my girls. Our girls need our understanding and support in navigating this modern culture that’s shaping them and harming them.
@SoniaMKhunkhun@UMCNO@TulaneMedicine It was our honor to hear your thoughtful message. I love the R3!

-We cannot eliminate suffering, but we can anticipate it, name it, and try to alleviate it
@skochb@rabrazzak Yes, mostly; just a little less formal. Here, we are focused on a number of people who have died. We have a framework to discuss issues from QI to how it relates to our own mortality and those we know; and emotional impact of it, etc… but is mostly open dialogue.
Our inaugural interdisciplinary debriefing in the MICU about patients who have died over the past two weeks, led by #PCCM fellow Dr. Katherine Bruening. #DeathRounds#HAPC#MedTwitter We later included celebrating some lives that were saved.
No, not all of us have had covid.
No, not all of us are resigned to getting it.
No, not all of us are expecting a 'mild' disease course if we do get covid.
Please, leave space for different expectations and experiences in this current stage of the pandemic.
