Transfers, charity places and late releases can still mean there’s a way into a race — but runners usually have to dig around to find out

Feels like this is exactly the kind of thing race websites should make clearer.

@scottroots That's some great pacing, I lost over 2000 places from Half to finish most of the damage in the last 12k, I went out for the very best time I thought I could achieve and was wrong. Still one of the best days running has to offer 🏃‍♂️🚶‍♂️🥳
