@MissJLud Not identical but maybe transferrable. My mum pays a family friend £5 to walk the dog for a couple of hours.
No idea if that's the going rate but...
@HecticTeacher@lovepookiecat That's so sad for everyone; for you that your trust was broken and for the students who don't get to benefit from it anymore. No doubt thoughtless behaviour with big consequence that I entirely agree with
@downtownmauve@AskADHD And give the cloudy bit a rest. If I have to do it now I try to motivate myself with a reward, that and caffeine (if you drink it), caffeine helps my brain focus and push on a bit longer but then I need a few days to recover if I've had to push through 2/2
@downtownmauve@AskADHD I mostly try to be kind to myself, forcing through it just makes me frustrated and I make more mistakes. If I can I do a different type of task eg. something more focused, something creative etc. to engage a different part of my brain 1/?
@brassoteach Probably my clarinet but whilst I'm at a decent level, I don't think expert level would have come very easily to me. I think I reached my top level for my natural skill and personality
@HecticTeacher PS. You are awesome and you are one of my teaching role models. Our time in Cologne made a big impact on me and I cherish it as a friendship I really needed after my own bad experience in schools
