🚀 Big news: today we’re excited to launch Coda 4.0 – the all-in-one platform for businesses, powered by AI.
You might be saying to yourself “Coda releases new features every day, what’s so special about Coda 4.0?”
We’re glad you asked...
@coda_hq launched coda AI and it's mind blowing 🤯
here's how I used it to plan my trip to #Singapore in 2 minutes.
so impressed with how it seamlessly integrates with coda's native features... it doesn't feel like a flashy add-on. it's driving real value.
Is your team building cathedrals, or simply stacking bricks?
@shishirmehrotra and @lshackleton discuss why teams that see how their work contributes to something more substantial are more successful than those who only see individual activity:
@thecodaguy@coda_hq Yeah I see this need for more flexibility in the side panel, and a more spacious, visual panel/dialog.
How much space do you think you would need for descriptions? E.g. I’ve seen some people use a page to house Automations SOPs, with mix of tables and prose
The @Coda_hq product team has always stood out as one of the most thoughtful, deliberate, first-principled product culture out there.
In part 2 of my series on how the best product teams build product, I interviewed @lshackleton on their approach to product.
A few highlights:
@hectorreyesf This is so cool, Hector! I'm currently reading 'Balance' by Andrew Hallam, about balancing life through the lens of finances. Would love to pick your brain on your template :)
3P's: Progress, Problems & Plans – what a simple, yet powerful ritual. It's no wonder I've seen Lyft's app evolve so quickly to meet the needs of riders and drivers everywhere. Thx for the inspiration, @logangreen! ⚡️
At high-growth companies, it’s easy for teams to get bogged down in meetings, emails, and Slack updates. Too much noise distracts and obscures. At Lyft, we use a simple template for focused updates and meetings.
@khemaridh Margin is about creating space b/w things: meetings, messages, decisions, "stimulus & response"... to make way for rest, play, celebration, grief, alignment... being human.
If I wanna design a good life – well, good design tends to involve empty space :)
