nobody talks about the angry stage of healing. the rage you feel when you realize how much and how long you were taken advantage of. the absolute disgust you feel towards those people that mislead you. it comes in waves. sometimes you'll feel healed and then it suddenly hits you.
Solar eclipse. Meteor shower. New moon. Planetary alignment. If your nervous system feels like it's shedding three lifetimes... let it.
The old timeline is done.
There's something special about instantly clicking with someone. You can talk all day without forcing anything, laugh naturally, and never feel like you're begging for their attention. That kind of effortless connection is rare, so appreciate it when you find it.
Life gets easier once you accept this: you can’t control how other people think, act, or feel, and that was never your job. Your job is staying true to who you are, moving with integrity, and letting go of things that were never yours to hold.
Allow yourself to embrace grieving who you might have been, but don’t overlook who you became.
What happened wasn’t your fault, but healing is your responsibility.
Maybe the pain stretched your capacity to love deeper, hold more space, and become someone you never could have been without surviving it.
