Y’all these fireworks are scaring the crap out of my dog. It’s all fun and games until you see your pup walking around the house panicked out of her mind. #dogsoftwitter
I can’t even imagine what would happen if teachers and school staffs only worked their contractual hours, only fulfilled their contractual duties and only used the resources their schools provided.
Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness never got his Texas absentee ballot that he requested.
Here's how he still voted — and how you can too if you’re in a similar situation. https://t.co/Vcq0RSYfjU
Shout out to my boo, my incredible friends, and family who are always building my confidence and reminding me of my worth, value, and capability— especially when the world would rather bring me down and keep me low. I’m so lucky.
Honestly, this piece of humanity gives me so much hope. Kids deserve to be kids - despite how crazy 2020 has been for adults and how over worked we must appear to them.
Absolutely LOVE this from our school district superintendent.
Sure, we could do virtual classes on snow days now, but why would we take *another* thing away from the kids?
I dunno what it says about me but this email almost made me cry
I wonder if anyone else places this much pressure on themselves when it comes to work. And if you do struggle with this, what do you do to mitigate the pressure?
I’m struggling with finding my voice in the work setting. I spend a lot of time doubting myself, not trusting my instincts, and ultimately feeling like every wrong turn could end up in losing everything I’ve worked for.
I’ve never appreciated being at home as much I am this trip. I don’t know if I’m more conscious of my family’s goodness and weakness or I’ve just not taking the time for granted anymore because of #COVID19. It feels good.
@VP Please stop leaning on your convenient use of Christianity to usher in wishy washy Christians who vote on hot button issues and don’t look to the entire story of Jesus to direct their belief system. #VPDebate
Watching the #VPDebate triggers every time I’ve had a professional conversation with a man and felt like one misspoke or word taken out context can completely distort what I stand for. What terrifies me is THAT lack of grace has made me question what positions I can hold.
