@NJAssemblyGOP Is this real? I can’t think of a better way to obfuscate a straightforward issue with academic-sounding word salad. She even closes with “if this made you uncomfortable it means you need to grow.” Textbook brainwashing. Do @newjerseydems support this?
“Basically, the people in Virginia who get dirt under their fingernails at work were told by screeching, rich, white ladies with Prada bags that they have no say in Congress anymore. In grand old Virginia fashion, the elites will rule, the peasants will serve.”
@clairlemon Not to mention the fact that there was no scientific consensus on tobacco’s harm for decades (centuries?) until there was.

@conor64 A stream of public health statements proven false and policies proved ineffective - but “in our best interests” - sometimes hours after they were made. 15 days to flatten the curve; Wear cloth masks, not N95; lab leak was impossible. Decades to rebuild trust after that.
@PolitiBunny Don’t shoot the messenger - I think a vibrant democracy requires viable candidates from at least two sides.
Did we watch different debates, because there is really no debate about WES’ tragic performance.
