@Discover high school economics teacher here. Just wanted to let you know that I always use your student cash back card as an example in my class for a great first credit card :)
The AASC State Convention received a big welcome last night at the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse as Mohave High School is the AASC State Convention Host for 2023.
Student Councils from around the state have come to learn and have fun in Bullhead City, AZ!

“Rigor is not defined by text—it comes from what students do… it is individual to each student’s needs. It is not quantified by how much gets crammed into a school day—it’s measured in depth of understanding.
Rigor is a result, not a cause.”
@ACLUaz this is a letter that a parent sent to the school board regarding our superintendent. I’m a teacher. I don’t know how much I can get involved, so I’m hoping you can provide guidance.
besides the actual computer (headset, mouse, mousepad, etc). I was wondering if you guys had any sort of package deal or partnership/sponsorship for high school teams?
Thank you for your time :)
@EnhanceBrand hi! I’m the esports coach for a (title 1) school in northern Arizona (Page) next to the Navajo reservation. This year we started our esports team and it has been HUGE for the students I teach. (1/3)
Many of them don’t have computers, internet, or sometimes even electricity at home. We have been lucky enough to be able to borrow/use some computers in the yearbook lab this year to start us off. One thing we have been struggling with is the necessary equipment (2/3)
Do y’all have any sort of program we could apply to for help with funding to get some of this gear?
I’ve always been a Logitech stan myself, so getting Logitech gear for my kids would definitely be my preference :)
@LogitechG I know this is a super tall ask, but I’m a high school teacher at a super underprivileged school near the Navajo reservation in Arizona. I have helped my students start an esports team here, and we could really use some headsets. (Continued)
@OP_CLOL_FAN this is probably going to be so random. But are you one of the esports coaches at GCU?
I’m a HS teacher in AZ (and former SFA Lumberjack). I’d love to connect to talk more about some of the students on our new esports team at the high school :)
If you have any advice or know someone who has any advice on how to help students succeed in AP Government, please send it my way!
I feel a lot of pressure to prove my ability to teach and handle my first AP Class, but I also really want my kids to do well too
