@azgreenday @ArizonaCoyotes Cheers to the memories and my favorite hockey obsessed professor (who may or may not have turned the other cheek while we streamed games in the back of class 😏). Hockey manages to create bonds like no other.

@calmiller17 I’ll never forget an energetic kid chasing me down on GCU campus to hand me his resume and introduce himself. Intern Cal forever!

@NicoleShabaz Where is my write-in option for a Shabz bobble?

For all that you’ve done for Arizona hockey.
For being the best coach, friend and colleague.
For making an impact on everyone you met.

Thank you, Matty. 💜

This evening, we honored Matt Shott by hanging his jersey number at Ice Den Chandler.

This Shott 94 banner will hang in each rink around Arizona as a tribute to Matt’s dedication to growing the game in the state. 💜

@KristenKeogh Love you, @KristenKeogh. You’re the epitome of the BEST. No one better. No one nicer. Making your dreams come true one day at a time. Thank YOU for all you have done and continue to do for this state and this team.

[USA Hockey @usahockey]

Matt Shott worked diligently to grow & develop girls hockey with the @arizonakachinas.

That growth is on full display at #USAHNationals three months after his death from cancer at age 34. ❤️

[Arizona Coyotes @ArizonaCoyotes]

We miss you, Matt. 💜

[Sun Devil Hockey @SunDevilHockey]

In honor of the late Matt Shott, @JTDoaner19 will wear No. 94 for the remainder of the season.

Matt was a friend and mentor to all who knew him and his legacy will live on through the continued growth of hockey in the desert 💜

[Arizona Coyotes @ArizonaCoyotes]

Join us next Wednesday at Gila River Arena to celebrate and honor the life of Matt Shott. 💜

[Arizona Coyotes @ArizonaCoyotes]

Matt is not only a coach to his Kachinas, he’s a role model as well.

Ahead of tonight’s game Matt got the chance to meet one of his: Former @DetroitRedWings Captain and current GM Steve Yzerman. 💜

[Arizona Coyotes @ArizonaCoyotes]

The whole team is behind you, Shottsey. 💜
