@LBC@Matthew_Wright The only insult here is his response to this caller. It’s our money. We earnt it and how we spend it is nobody’s business but our own.
@bphillipsonMP can you explain to me in words a normal ‘working’ person can understand the justification, financial, ideological and political for the VAT on independent school fees. I would also like a detailed and costed breakdown of where the funds raised will be spent.
@bhx_official My daughter’s flight left 3 hours late. Missed her connecting flight from Doha to Beijing and is now stuck in Doha until 2am Friday morning when the next flight to China leaves. Damn fool who abandoned their car.
@robkewley77 I got a speeding fine last year (33mph in a 30mph). Went on the speeding awareness course - 95% of the attendees were male. The course was boring, not engaging and at the end nearly all the men said they would carry on speeding and had only attended not to get the points.
@ichoosemag Have you seen the proposed building that is going to replace it? Just like the buildings that replaced the library - architecturally redundant. Does Birmingham really need another soulless glass box - nah thanks - I’ll take the Ringway.
I’ve dined here and met Gareth, he was nothing but pleasant took time to speak to all of his guests, his staff well trained and like a family, the food excellent. https://t.co/uKHJVVJhAJ
It’s disgusting how few MP’s have turned up to vote on the Boris report. For shame to all those who couldn’t be bothered, particularly Sunak and the other front benchers.
@MoseleyHeathWMP There is an appalling level of poor driving in kings heath. From speeding to parking to just general nastiness. You literally take your life in your hands on the streets round here.
ALIEN was released 44 years ago today. One of the definitive science fiction/horror movies, its influence is still seen to this day. The behind-the-scenes story of how the film was made is a fascinating one...

@SeamusBlackley My mum moved to Okehampton 2 years ago and I haven’t visited her once were there hasn’t been high winds and torrential rain - her house backs onto Dartmoor and you get battered.
@LouiseHolgate@WoodinRivers So, the answer is no, then. Not to say the council is any better but if you are going hold meetings and present an argument - for or against - I should think having some verifiable data would be a good start.
@SeamusBlackley I’d genuinely like to know, what he thinks is going to happen that will require the use of that weapon. I can’t imagine how soul sapping it must be to live with level of anxiety.
