136 of our colleagues in Gaza have been killed in 75 days – something we have never seen in @UN history.
Most of our staff have been forced from their homes.
I pay tribute to them & the thousands of aid workers risking their lives as they support civilians in Gaza.
No more oppression.
No more discrimination.
No more marginalization.
No more gender-based violence.

Over 2300 children are living on the streets in #Mombasa#Kenya and are exposed to the risk of contracting #schistosomiasis.
The #AscendLot1 programme is focused on driving down this risk through drug distribution and prevention. #Streetchildren should not be #leftbehind.

@StefanMolyneux I am perfectly happy without children and with a successful career. Happiness is not defined in the same way for all people #kidsdontbringhappiness
This is significant. No matter what else may happen as a result of #Brexit, Irish and British citizens will still be able to live, travel work, study and access healthcare, housing and welfare in each other’s countries as though we were citizens of both https://t.co/NVlAjMeYmi
@The_Emmo@ireland Should also mention access to national systems for benefits to cover these is difficult, often based on medical definition of disability not a more social definition which is more encompassing esp for mental health sufferers
@The_Emmo@ireland There is no consensus in the international community on the definition on disability. Other definitions refer to limitations in interactions with environment too so could encompass temporary disabilities too including short term sufferers of mental health
