@kentrosaurian@DarkEden21@SoozUK I'd imagine one of the checks they do after thinking of names is exactly that so it could easily be that they contacted a bunch of potentials to see who was available while someone else looked them up and shortlisted from those who said yes...
@degen_on_web @halomancer1 Arstechnica had an article on it the other day. He's pushed people into arbitration (to escape a class action) then refused to pay for it which he can't do as it's a standard process, the result is that nothing is happening until he is sued into doing what he agreed to.
@_BarringtonII So that's a no to the birth Control pill, pain killers, insulin, asthma inhalers and about 1,000,000 other common medicines then... tells everyone very quickly how little you've thought about this doesn't it.
@StorySorcery Ah yes, let's hark back to the era where women were so happy that Gin was replaced by anti depressants as the drug to get many women through the day in a suitably numb state...
@nert@AndrophileSkin@jayrotoole To be fair AS is American and that's a reasonable claim in the US. It'd probably only true of the US though since everywhere else has much more sensible healthcare systems.
Since Jay is Irish it's a nonsense claim here though.
@MaryBloomberg4@Femi_Sorry If you think anyone who is still for Brexit can be persuaded by rational discussion or evidence then you are a fool.
There's no excuse for it at this stage.
@ClareBlueFlares@KingBobIIV@Yorkshire_Woman You are correct because this story is a lie.
Who do you believe, your own life experience and the medial professional that told you how it works or some random on the Internet?
@Novalaisienne@ElizeBiermann@BylineTimes@davidhencke I did a quick bit of googling last time the cost of refurbishment was in the press. The refurbishment cost was around the same as 17 Shards which is just utterly obscene.
Knock it down and build something fit for purpose at 1/20th of the cost.
@Acuity_Design @brokenbottleboy Short headlines are woke.
I think its for the readers. Big headlines mean the articles are short which suits Mail readers nicely.
@JediBearBob@GeorgePeretzKC There were some intelligent Brexiters but they were all rich enough to make a killing trading long on the value of the ยฃ and taking the profits off shore.
The rest were nieve, stupid or so viciously racist that the just wanted all the 'nasty foreigners' gone no matter the cost.
