This is from a dear patient who is a successful college student who will continue to be... Life is already challenging enough. DEAr DEA, please don't mess with ourselves!!!! Our reach (and YES, OUR DEA is OURS!!!:) is hurting ourselves.... Please stop. I haven't yet heard back that this is over after I've called and called, left sooo many messages. It 'seems' to be getting better but is still adding so much unwarranted additional stress to an already way stressful position as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist specializing in ADHD/PTSD and comorbid conditions... But now I hear from other esteemed psychiatrists as well that they are now only providing written prescriptions to their patients so the poor patients can go on the scavenger hunt for their needed meds. I will not do that to my patients. Other doctors are just stating that they "can't write" prescriptions for Adderall (generic as well) anymore. WTF???
