I work with children who identify as ‘trans’.
The girls hate being female because they think society views them as ‘weak’ or ‘vunerable’.
The boys hate being male because they feel pressure to be ‘strong’ and ‘tough’.
Children being irreversibly harmed because of stereotypes.
🇸🇩 Sudan: Bara Hospital Horror — The UAE-backed RSF took control of the hospital and massacred countless children while raping pregnant women.
Among the victims were women who had given birth barely 15–20 minutes earlier, and others who were in labour and expected to deliver within minutes. None were spared — every one of them was killed after the rape.
They weren’t even given the chance to bring life into this world. To me, this stands as the darkest crime ever committed by the RSF.

Big up @GlamourMagUK
I grew up in an era when mainstream women’s magazines told girls they needed to be thinner and prettier.
Now mainstream women’s magazines tell girls that men are better women than they are.
I heard this time and again when I was in this mythic "trans community". The self-inflicted hysteria - that society is trying to "genocide" the trans people and that everyone wants to out and kill trans people.
And then I crossed the political aisle and met some of the "fascists pushing for our deaths" - Helen Joyce, Jordan Peterson, Kathleen Stock.
I couldn't believe the scale of the lies I had been told about them.
They are lovely, sensible, often funny human beings with legitimate and well-evidenced concerns about the current education and medicalisation of children and their mental distress.
I have been deep in the so-called "far right" for a number of years now, keeping company with the key "figures of hate" and I have never once heard anyone express a desire to harm, disclose feelings of hatred, or intent to control people or see them dead for being "trans". Not in a public setting and not in a private setting when the wine is flowing. Never. And I was hawk-eyed and wary when first traversing the political aisle: I myself had been told these people wanted me "in the closet" or dead for being "my true and authentic self."
For the most part, there is only pity and sadness for the lost and distressed young people. Frustration, sometimes, at the lies and slander that circulate - the attempts to ruin their lives that come off the back of these lies.
But the contempt is all for the charities who push this dangerous fantasy on young people, not for the young people themselves.
Afghan women are not giving up but they are running out of options.
The world must act now, before the last light of hope is extinguished.

Mae Martin has ‘he/him’ pronouns in the Netflix series Wayward.
It’s clear Mae is a lesbian woman, albeit an uncomfortable woman. Everything about her screams female. Yet the audience is supposed to believe she’s about to become a ‘father’
Stop propagandising @netflix

Et c'est censé être quelque chose de positif ?
