@geekypastimes Extremely weird conclusion to jump to that probably says more about your thought process than anything else.
I just find it distracting when photo realistic graphics look noticeably off from their source. Especially when I know teams with smaller budgets have done it correctly.
@ShookDeep@BigBoris_2 Nah they created an "original universe" for this game, so the X-Men don't exist. I'm convinced they were too cheap to pay for the full licensing.
@CordarrellS@ShookDeep@BigBoris_2 Why does every comic dork get incredibly salty if you don't know every piece of lore they threw away the opportunity of sex for?
@NayruYT@colorgravemhin No, you just get mad when people having differing opinions than you lol
It's cool if you're excited, but stop whining about the people who aren't.
@wackydoggs@Howlingmutant0@Cartoonhistory2 I could have sworn Carey Means was in the Squim episode (as the ice cream store owner) but you're right, that was just a soundalike.
@StuntCunnings@BLJDub@Qphlat@Cartoonhistory2 I don't think these guys got paid very well. It seems most of the money in voice acting goes to established "face" (for lack of a better term) actors.
@BLJDub@StuntCunnings@Qphlat@Cartoonhistory2 Shake's actor was struggling too. AS made so much money off these guys through merch alone, yet can't throw them a minor gig or two to get them back in the industry.
@Qphlat@madcollector101@Cartoonhistory2 Voice acting pay in the 2000s was around the mean. Unless you were already an established, "irreplaceable" actor, you weren't making much more than like a full time retail employee.
@Howlingmutant0@Cartoonhistory2 What's worse is the only gigs the ATHF guys have gotten in recent years were on Smiling Friends. They're all still great at their jobs, but Adult Swim apparently has no interest in employing them.
