@Thedunkdad Yep. I haven't played the first one, but pretty much everyone said the sequel is a massive improvement, and to just skip to it. The devs seems to be extremely aware of the huge quality jump, since the product page refers to Mortal Shell 2 as a "standalone sequel".

Personally I think as a piece of art it is extremely corporate in a lot of ways. You can call me a gooner and you'd be correct, but still stuff like this is just lame and reeks of a lack of confidence. A ravenous desire for "mass appeal" is present all throughout this game.
