@JoyAnnReid Yesterday's TRHT Town Hall was inspiring. I helped start a TRHT in project River Forest, IL. Shout out to @DominicanU for their TRHT event. Chris went All in. I loved that. @allinwithchris Loved @trymainelee. He nailed it! @WK_Kellogg_Fdn Go Hard!
This is what I do because I try to live what I believe. People like me join organizations, serve on boards, donate their time and talents, and strengthen communities of care for people who need support. Thanks to volunteers. https://t.co/23bjcYeJ0O
Student loan forgiveness will not increase inflation but it will bring relief to thousands of parents who are helping their kids with unexpected expenses out of their stagnating wages or retirement assets. Get real. The benefits radiate.
An economic case for loan forgivenesses. Not to mention Heather McGhee's point that white access to higher education was built on discrimination against Black, brown and Indigenious people who are disproportionately debt burdened.

@SymoneDSanders Caught your show for the first time today. The voting appeal was right. My Gen X kids and Gen Z need your message. Ask them, why is the Republician party doing everything to keep us from voting? Play Aretha's THINK! Good show.
@MediaDervish Nice piece. Your crypo warning rings true, especially if you believe Warrent Buffet's advice about investing in products you understand. I think the cost of mining bitcoin to the environment deserves another article on the topic.
@emerriwether Any space where toxic shadows lurk includes airline advice. Put on your own mask first, then help others. Systems change is not quick but it's possible. Teach students that we got to cry sonetimes but we can still bring joy & change. You live this. You know.
SCOTUS denies women the right to reproductive health care while eviserating the principle of implied rights. The door is now open to rollbacks on LGBTQ, immigrant rights & interacial marriage. Women are the first targets but they won't be the last. #Vote
My Constitutional rights are not up to the states. Women's rights are not conditioned by gender, race, class, background or circumstance. In an America seeking to nullify the 14th Amendment, we are in grave danger and must not capitulate.
@karenhunter white nationalism and gnophobia, aren't they one? Americans must choose. I choose to act, to vote, to speak up, to show up. I choose this for my children, my grandchildren and my country. I fight for my sistuhs' until I join the ancestors..
#RoevWade Networks of support for those needing reproductive health care is rising. SCOTUS and their allies are not pro-life. They are pro-slavery. Allowing states to deny women the right to control their own bodies is slavery.
@BillNye@karenhunter Well, it's complicated. The 13th Amendment was ratified by the requisite number of states in December, 1865. It was not unanimous. Delaware,Kentucky and Mississippi failed to ratify. In fact, the last state to ratify the Amendment was MS in 2013. #Stillfighting2Bfree
