Easier/quicker for radiographers? More throughput?
I don’t think it helps for the chest at all, supposed to be better pleural enhancement - what relevance for majority of patients?

Often the relative contrast opacification in the chest is so poor it’s little more use than an unenhanced.
The MPRs appear on PACS at a reduced size so have to zoom in.

@nhs_pensions Please advise: my RPSS has a discrepancy in PIA for 2014-15 between summary page & carry forward tables, exact figures from a historical manual correction!

I know these 2010-2015 figures are incorrect because @Jack__Needham recalculated them in 2019, the RPSS has the old ones

@DocMPR @goldstone_tony @medicaccountant @nhs_pensions @NHSBSA I revoked Choice 2 this year. So not sure if the historically incorrect figure was for the 1995 and the historical corrected figure was for 2008, which figure is correct on the RPSS now I’m back in 1995???

@DocMPR @goldstone_tony @medicaccountant @nhs_pensions @NHSBSA The summary table has the incorrect figure from a historical automatic calculation. The carry forward has the correct figure from the historical manual calculation needed to account for Choice 2, and what I submitted to HMRC.

I’ve found the exact figures on the RPSS on old AAPSAs where they were incorrectly calculated automatically and a manual correction was required.
Did you move to 2008 in Choice2?

@gdcuk Hi Graham, my Medifintech report earlier this year helped me decide to revoke Choice2, just like this case. Just received my RPSS. Previously have had manual AAPSA calculations.

Can I use the Medifintech report to check that my RPSS figures are correct myself, if so how?

Would love to report stable oncology follow ups in a two word report but I’m

I mention important negatives or normal variants that could be confused with pathology.

Suspect Choice2 wasn’t hyped or supported as it was more expensive for the government if people moved from 1995 to 2008. Choice 1 was obvs better to stay in 1995, but with imposition of 2015 the balance changed for some

Retiring at NPA for ‘95/08 would mean actuarial reduction of 7/2 years in the 2015; lesser of 2 evils chosen, otherwise I’d have stayed in ‘95 to retire at 60.

I think the numbers are few but I’m one of them. Will I get the chance to reverse Choice 2 and rejoin 1995?
