@Jason @sophaller To answer her question for anyone opposed, it's all local action, lawsuits, and pressuring local officials. Around here, 4/5 recently proposed data centers were either rejected or the developer withdrew their application. I am all for progress, just not near any of my properties.

But it is also true that things can get far worse for all Americans if we run all job-creating wealth - both old and new - out of the country over taxation and wealth redistribution. It's a tough problem.

And it is disrespectful. I'm surprised Barack Obama is supporting these measures, even with pointing out their temporary nature.
