Our homes are built to trap hot air inside .Ac units are very expensive and hard to install + Our electricity costs make the whole thing not worth it for the few weeks its hot

Last winter I was using £70 on gas every month, so this year ima just freeze

If you're making more than £30k a year you probably dont have to worry as much about electricity costs.

@IqDetector @ProtagonistIvy Its not, a proper ac unit to be fitted in a single room would cost upwards for £1500 , then you have it running during the summer , say, 3 months , that's another what £700 extra cost on electricity.

Most brits make less than £35k/y, many are stuck on minimum wage £25k a year

If you require a no urgent operation, you will wait longer, maybe a few months, but if you need an operation to save your life, you wont wait more than a day.
