Our newish paper: the need for a 🧠 scan in a child with a suspected spinal injury.

In the absence of brain injury symptoms, a head scan "just in case" is unnecessary, even if a spine injury is seen. Although the patient would already be in the scanner.

It was an honor to host the Nordic Congress of Radiology and Radiography last week in Helsinki, Finland. We were joined by delegates from 17 different counties from around the world and had a great time!

As Congress President for Radiology, I would like to thank the entire organizing committee for their hard work in creating an exciting program; all the speakers and chairs for sharing their wisdom; the sponsors for their support and collaboration; and all the attendees for participating and creating an inspiring atmosphere.

I thank my fellow Congress President Tiina Nousiainen from the Society of Radiographers for her leadership and vision; and their entire team for the great collaboration.

Looking forward to the next Nordic Congress of Radiology and Radiography in 2025 in Trondheim, Norway!
