We remain the only GPs in the UK paying their own, high cost, indemnity fees. Resolving this is a priority for our members. The current proposal from DoH does not go far enough and excludes locum or sessional GPs. We will continue to press for a comprehensive solution.

Another big acquisition announced by Derry's Martin Property Group. It has bought the 243,089 sq ft Mercury Shopping Centre in the centre of Romford (just east of London). Tenants include Asda, Premier Cinema, Mecca Bingo and McDonalds. Asking price was listed as £25m.
