An Unforgettable Evening in Zurich
Blown away by @Alice_Weidel at the @Weltwoche
event yesterday in Zurich, interviewed by @KoeppelRoger
! Beyond the headlines, I saw a highly intelligent, human leader pushing for direct democracy & national sovereignty. Alice Weidel is a Threat to the Establishment, Not Democracy
Controlled immigration, "Germans First" social responsibility, and exposing EU's "autocratic monster." She's fighting for the people, not the elite.

Switzerland at a Crossroads – The EU Framework Agreement
🚨 Breaking News: Switzerland and the EU Reach a Tentative Agreement 🚨
Today, Switzerland and the European Union are reportedly finalizing negotiations on the long-debated framework agreement. With EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arriving in Bern and a joint announcement scheduled with Swiss Federal President Viola Amherd, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
But here’s the critical question: Are we, the Swiss people, being adequately consulted on this pivotal decision?
My Stance: This Requires a Popular Vote
As a proud Swiss citizen, I firmly believe this agreement—impacting our sovereignty and shaping our future—must be decided by the people through a popular vote. Anything less risks sidelining our democratic principles.
This framework agreement touches on critical issues such as:
1️⃣ Dynamic adaptation to EU law: Should Swiss laws automatically change to align with EU regulations?
2️⃣ Dispute resolution: Who holds the final say—Swiss courts or an external body?
3️⃣ New contributions to EU cohesion: How much are we paying, and what are we getting in return?
While the agreement includes areas of mutual interest like research, education, and electricity, we must consider whether the concessions outweigh the benefits. Is this the best deal for Switzerland?
An Alternative Vision: Why Not Join BRICS?
Switzerland thrives on neutrality and independence, yet this agreement ties us closer to a bloc where our influence will always be limited.
Instead of aligning with the EU’s centralized model, why not explore partnerships with emerging powers like BRICS?
These nations prioritize:
🌍 Economic collaboration without political domination
⚡ Innovation in technology and energy sectors
🤝 Respect for sovereignty and tailored agreements
BRICS represents a dynamic, multipolar world order—one that Switzerland could benefit from while maintaining its autonomy.
Let’s Discuss
This is a defining moment for Switzerland. Will we accept an agreement negotiated behind closed doors, or will we demand a say in our future?
💬 What’s your take? Should Switzerland approve this agreement, or are there better alternatives? Should we rethink our global alliances? Let’s start a conversation.
