@BBCNews. The best way to avoid buying dangerous Halloween costumes is to ban Halloween. Why do we need this trashy, commercial Americanism? We’ll be rolling out cotton wool on our roofs for Christmas next!
@mrdanwalker Gareth Southgate's record will stand up well in the history books. But future historians will not have had to sit through the shocking waste of one of the most talented group of attacking players we've ever had. He could suck the joy out of a Glastonbury audience!
@StephenWayneDa4 @wwfc_chris “Blocking” is an obstruction; it’s not American footie you know! As for off-side; if you are not interfering with play you shouldn’t be on the pitch! Wherever you are on the pitch, a defender is distracted by you and hence, may not be able to affect the goal action.
@BBCBreakfast Potholes: The most annoying thing is that one reports a pot hole, it gets repaired and 6 weeks later one has to report it again because the poor workmanship has failed. I hope we don’t pay contractors when they are sent back to repair it again!
@BBCNews Thanks for the lunchtime
news, during which I had to put up with Eric Cantona’s appalling singing again (not news and no-one cares) and not a sentence about the war in Ukraine. Have the Russians given up?
@motogpontnt Possibly not if this was two years ago; but compared to other incidents this season then yes, without a doubt. Consistency from stewards is hard when they are different each week… are they different? If not, then it’s truly inconsistent!
@colettegould42@RebelHQ@Kevin_Maguire The only answer is for all parties to pool their ideas, resources and knowledge. This should not be a political issue. It affects all of us irrespective of political opinion. We need to talk to the French as equals (tough due to Brexit but…) to find a solution.
@YvetteCooperMP How? Like all opposition parties you are happy to criticise but never offer concrete suggestions, properly thought through. Why don’t you work WITH the government on such problems. I’m sure you all want the same outcome!
@motogpontnt It’s very funny that people are blaming TNT and @NeilHodgson100 . It’s TNT’s job to ask the questions. It’s the interviewee’s responsibility to answer and @jakedixonracing said what he wanted to say. He may regret it but hey ho!
@BBCBreakfast A recommended portion size for Pringles and Quality Street should be zero. They have no serious nutritional value and should be eaten as a treat… until there’s none left!
@matoxley Why would you need to remove a tear-off as you cross the finish line? It’s bizarre! But I also find it strange that most riders remove a tear-off as they leave the pit Lane! Set an example; put it in a bin in the garage for goodness sake!
@motomatters MM93 is a very special rider but a serial offender and has ridden like that his whole career. He needs a huge punishment. Twice in two laps just in this race!
@bbcnews@BBCBreakfast Please ask your next ministerial interviewee the following: If there are 100,000 vacancies in the NHS, that’s 100,000 lots of wages being saved from the NHS pay budget so why not give some of it as an extra to existing, loyal employees?
@SteveBarclay@willquince If there are 100,000 vacancies in the NHS there are 100,000 wages you are not paying so you can afford to give existing employees a bit more. Offer 7.5% and you might get a deal!
