Do you know a student who could use a Fresh Start for school? Drive through Aug 13th anytime between 10 am - 1 pm and pick up a FREE school supplies box and hygiene bag!
@RPE_AP@kickingitwithak I know it’s not classroom organization but I got a class set of these for every chair and it has been amazing for my classes. Allows every kid to get extra movement without getting up and they focused much better. I recommend this to every teacher I talk with!
@RPE_AP@kickingitwithak I had 2 separate baskets inside desks (I think dollar tree) for each student to put their materials in since they shared a desk and I have limited counter space for book boxes. Separate turn in baskets for AM and PM (even separate the subject areas).
My big girl rarely lets me read to her at bed time (she usually reads me the same story every night). Tonight she let me read her a story. I chose the Ninjabread Man. I can hear her reading the book in bed to herself! 😍 #EveryChildEveryDay
Reading a book geared towards adults: can’t do it.
Reading a book geared towards 4th-6th graders: I’m all about it.
Started The Wild Robot yesterday and I’m loving it!
@misslausclass I forget about Roald Dahl books sometimes - I tried reading The BFG out loud to my second graders one time and it was a struggle for me!
While on maternity leave I learned this girl LOVES buses. I told her that today was the last day of school for the big kids so we won’t see the buses anymore until school starts again so we drove by the @LeanderISD bus barn to have 1 last look.
