2025 Volkswagen Golf R Previewed with Similar Updates as the GTI :
Volkswagen is busy updating the entire Golf hatchback lineup, and we're now finally seeing a first glimpse of the revised 2025 Golf R which will arrive soon alongside the 2025 Golf GTI. VW brought a camouflaged prototype of the all-wheel-drive Golf R to an ice race in Austria and said that the car will make its official debut in mid-2024.
Through the light camouflage on this prototype, we can see that the Golf R features the same new headlights and taillights as the GTI, but maintains its own aggressive-looking front bumper and different body kit. Larger wheels and big blue brake calipers are also visible, along with a rear spoiler and large exhaust tips. Although we haven't seen any interior photos, we expect it to incorporate the same changes as the GTI including a new infotainment system and real buttons instead of touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel.

2025 Chevy Silverado HD Finally Receives the Trail Boss Treatment :
First-Ever Silverado HD Trail Boss
The light-duty Silverado 1500 has offered a Trail Boss model for quite some time. However, this is the first time that Chevy has applied the off-road-oriented treatment to the Silverado HD. Not only does it bring suspension components from the Z71 version, but it also includes black front and rear bumpers. The black exterior bits also extend to a set of unique 20-inch wheels and more aggressive rubber.
Chevy has only released a single image of the new Silverado HD Trail Boss, but it shows the truck's red tow hooks as well as bedside decals. Inside, we fully expect there to be embroidered headrests and other callouts. The heavy-duty Trail Boss is based on LT and LTZ models, which we expect to start at about $51,000 and $60,000, respectively, for the 2025 model year. We also expect the Trail Boss treatment to add between $4Kโ$5K to each.

Dodge Charger Replacement Looks Mean on the Road :
Dodge remains quiet on what exactly the upcoming Charger and Challenger replacement actually is, but the cars are now seemingly testing without camouflage. Less than a week after Dodge spoiled its own game by sharing photos of a pre-production car, another upcoming Charger replacement has been spotted on the roads outside Chrysler's headquarters in Michigan.
The video, originally recorded by Instagram user Connor Mink and re-uploaded by another account, shows the new Dodge product briefly driving along Michigan's I-75. The rear of the car resembles the liftback Charger Daytona SRT concept, although the tail lights are much more conservative than the concept's bar of stacked LEDs. While gas-powered models have been rumored, this particular variant has no exhaust pipes and is likely an EV.
Scale can be hard to judge from a portrait-oriented Instagram clip of a car on the highway, but the new Charger replacement appears to be smaller than the previous-generation Challenger in front of it. The car seems to have pony-car-like proportions, more like a Mustang or a Camaro than the boatlike Charger and Challenger of old.

2025 Acura CDX: Everything We Know About the New Entry-Luxury SUV :
Buried in a recent preview of Honda's upcoming products and business developments was a little note about a new Acura SUV. But don't let that tiny mention fool you: This new Acura is a big deal. It will be the brand's smallest, most affordable SUV, sliding in beneath the compact RDX, three-row midsize MDX, and upcoming all-electric ZDX in the lineup. For the past year or so, Acura's entry point overall has been its resurrected Integra hatchbackโthe new SUV will likely take over that role. Even though it's likely to be priced higher than the Integra, it'll sell in greater volume by virtue of its shape. Customers just can't get enough SUVs, it seems.
