@CypressDahlia See Moby Dick Chapter 42 “On The Whiteness of the Whale”. Goes through how “whiteness” is viewed as both beautiful and frightening. Reading this chapter also adds layers of meaning to the Judge’scharacter, despite the book’s resistance to meaning.
