The thread you have been waiting for 🔥🔥🔥
Last weekend I put my new G350d for a a proper Kenyan road trip.
📍Nairobi → Kitale → Kisumu → Kisii → Nairobi (1,053 km).
Here are my honest thoughts after spending hours behind the wheel. 🧵👇
1/ First things first.
The G-Class is an event.Every fuel station, every town, every parking lot... people were pulling out their phones to take photos and videos. It wasn't just another SUV. It was the talk of every stop. Show stopper indeed. Got the police saluting 🫡 at every road block. It go so much attention that we actually started getting worried with madam… did we make the wrong move ? That was her question 😅
It was very intimidating to the general public 😅.
It’s impossible to go unnoticed 😎. Whether you want attention or not.
The captain of Iran’s National Team, Mehdi Taremi, calls out FIFA and the U.S.:
“This is a disaster World Cup. We can’t stay in the country and have to travel every time we play without any recovery. Now we can’t stay in Seattle and have to return to Tijuana. This is not fair.”
The beauty about flying private is tukienda Malindi Summer tides alafu sunday mseme tupitie Lamu for quick lunch before going back to Wilson, Ni possible.
Mm pesa ya mafuta mtaongeza na tunaweka flight plan haraka sana io shughuli tunapiga😃
Barack: You told me all those years ago that you couldn’t promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. Of course, you outdid yourself and managed to give me both.
Eight years in the crucible, and not once did you melt from the heat. Not once did you let it harden you. Instead, you used it to reveal your truest essence: your stubborn optimism and unflinching courage, your dazzling brilliance and unpretentious decency, your ferocious work ethic and absolutely unshakable moral fiber.
Mayor Mamdani at the Knicks Ceremony: “We as the city are often forced to come together in the moments in tragedy, what a blessing it is to come together in a moment of joy.”
Made me cry, because it’s true.
But real winners are the ones who get knocked down, take the hit, learn the lesson, and get back up when nobody would blame them for staying down.
Life will test your faith.
Keep fighting.
Keep growing.
Keep showing up.
That’s a win.
Mike Brown's journey:
*Fired from Cleveland on May 24, 2010
*Fired from LA (Lakers) on November 9, 2012
*Fired from Sacramento on December 27, 2024
*Wins an NBA Championship in his inaugural year as head coach with the NY Knicks
Moral of the story: Your failures don't define. How you respond to them does.
Pretty wild that it's been 27 years since the Knicks made the NBA Finals and the opponent they're facing in their return is the last opponent they faced in the Finals.
I love how much Wemby loves basketball, man. This is why I'm such a fan of this guy. It's not just how good he is, it's how much he loves every part of this. He wears his heart on his sleeve.
