@CitImmCanada I was originally going to Toronto through a connection in Montreal. Given the new circumstances, I must stay in Montreal for 14 days. I don't have a place to stay in Montreal, nor have someone to puck me up at the airport.
Is there any help?
@CitImmCanada@CitImmCanada Thanks for putting the exemptions in effect.
The things that are unclear for us newcomers regarding the 14-day isolation are these:
1. How can we find a place to stay in?
2. What should we do for obtaining food and supplies?
The travel exemptions announced on March 20 are not yet in effect for temporary foreign workers, international students or approved permanent residents that have not yet landed in Canada. Don’t travel before an announcement is made.

@CitImmCanada An update on the IRCC website with information for COPR holders, applicants etc may be more convenient than being bombarded through the webform
Hello, @CitImmCanada will applicants with already issued Confirmation of Permanent Residence be allowed to travel to Canada to complete their PR landing process or they are also affected by the border closure to non-Canadian citizens?
Your clarification on this is required.
@maya82142152@CitImmCanada@CanadianPM Please consider special measures for landing of COPR holders who have quit their jobs and sold all their belongings in their home country
Dear Mr @JustinTrudeau,
Please kindly consider exceptional measures for entrance of COPR holders to Canada, as most of them don't have much left in their home country, and consequently, waiting is not an option for them.
