downloads run through a native engine: up to 64 parallel HTTP connections fetching 16 MiB ranges directly to disk. the queue lives outside the UI, so leaving a screen doesn't interrupt the transfer. thanks for helping shape Overdrive!

thanks everyone for the feedback! download speed, catalog and stability came up the most, alongside search, UI and format choice. your replies give me a much clearer idea of what matters most to you

what would make you choose one store over another?
catalog? download speeds? UI/UX? stability? ease of use?
i'd love to know what matters most to you, and what you wish existing stores did better. (new preview)
overdrive already has search and filters, PS4/PS5 titles, source and format selection, USB download destinations, and a queue with pause/resume where supported. PS4 titles in the catalog doesn't mean the app runs on PS4, it currently targets PS5.
