In Italy, anyone can now enter med school, but a brutal first exam (physics/chem/bio/logic) filters most out (~20% pass). Why not do the same in the US, skip the admissions theater, admit everyone, and let rigor sort it out? Engineering works the same way (Calculus).

I mean it’s 3h from LA, it’s a workday and it’s freezing and windy. If you want crowds during the week you need a different location. Last weekend was packed.
