It feels like we Indias are losing their morals at a steep pace
Every few days, we see another horrifying story.
Partners killing each other over relationships, betrayal or money.
Road rage turning into assault within seconds.
Children growing up surrounded by anger, comparison and pressure.
People becoming lonelier despite being constantly connected.
Scams everywhere.
Fake reviews. Fake food. Fake promises. Fake lifestyles.
Public spaces are treated as nobody’s responsibility.
Rules are followed only when there is fear of punishment.
Corruption feels increasingly shameless.
Officials, politicians and govt officials accumulate unimaginable wealth while ordinary citizens struggle for roads, drainage, schools, hospitals and basic dignity.
At work, people are exhausted.
At home, relationships are breaking.
Online, everyone is outraged.
On the road, everyone is impatient.
Everyone seems to be running.
Very few seem peaceful.
We are richer in consumption, but poorer in trust.
More educated, but not necessarily more civil.
More connected physically, but less compassionate.
More ambitious, but deeply unhappy.
GDP can grow.
Cities can build skyscrapers.
People can buy bigger homes and luxury cars.
But can a society truly progress when basic decency is collapsing?
Why are we becoming so angry?
Why has cheating become intelligence and honesty become foolishness?
Why are we unable to disagree without hatred?
Who is teaching our children empathy, patience and integrity?
And most importantly:
Are we building a successful country, even. Or merely an, angrier, unhealthy and more distrustful one?
You might have retired from cricket, but there is no retirement for your place in SRH fans' hearts, Kane Mama 🧡
Thank you for the endless memories, the class, and that beautiful smile. Happy retirement .
That looks like a shocker for third umpire Rohan Pandit. Salt's feet definitely touched the boundary cushions. I cannot believe he gave a possibly game changing decision that quickly. SRH fans will be fuming.
> Wake up
> Drink detergent-mixed milk for breakfast
> Ride on potholes-filled road to reach office
> Pay toll & fuel tax on the way
> Eat Fake paneer sandwich for lunch
> Ride a bike back home
> Fall in a sewage pit
> Die from corruption
What a joke this country has become!
