@paulandstorm I've been trying for weeks to reach Paul regarding an arrangement of a Da Vinci's Notebook song + clearance. Is there a more direct way to get in touch?
When it comes to "diversity" in media, there's "race-swapping" and then there's "representation". It's possible to make relatable content and accurately portray a people without overtly drawing attention, as if to pedantically educate the audience. We can do better.
In 2018, Google decided to rebrand its existing "Google Home" ecosystem as "Google Nest", setting up mass confusion over the existing "Home" and "Nest" products. Coincidentally, that's the same year they dropped the motto "Don't be evil."
My PC's SSD mysteriously filled up. I'd watch the free space on the C: Properties rapidly fall to zero bytes, even as I deleted GBs of data. After racing the counter to save my files, I finally got around to a restart, which seemed to fix it. What do you suppose was the cause?

My Google Drive has these top-level, colored folders:
.Archive (shortcuts throughout for easy drag/drop)
Ongoing = Teal
Projects = Red
Shared = Yellow
Someday = Green
I usually prefix my timeboxed docs with https://t.co/CWJfSoU4mi.DD so that they're conveniently sorted.
I use a color-coding system across several Google products (Calendar, Gmail, Keep, Drive), which stems from the Eisenhower Matrix for productivity:
Red = Important + Urgent -> Do now
Orange = Important + Not Urgent -> Do later
Yellow = Not Important + Urgent -> Delegate
In Google Keep, I occasionally jot down notes for:
Red = do now (+ pins)
Orange = do later (+ reminder)
Yellow = waiting on people / agendas
Green = someday/maybe (+ archived)
Teal = recurring/routine (+ recurring reminder)
Pink = dates
Brown = work
Gray = references (+ archived)
In Gmail, I use "Multiple inboxes" with corresponding colored labels.
Doing (red): Query = is:starred OR is:*Doing
Later (orange): Query = *Later
Waiting (yellow): Query = *Waiting
*The preceding asterisk on a label name helps push it above the many other labels I have.
I also have other separate calendars whose colors align across products:
Contacts = Yellow/Banana
My Routine = Light Blue (used for fall-back events)
Work = Brown (mirroring my work events)
FYI = Gray/Graphite (tentative/ancillary events)
Dates (color override) = Pink/Flamingo
In Google Calendar, I color-code one-time, scheduled "Reminders" as Red ("Tomato"); multi-step, spread-out "Tasks" as Orange ("Mango"), and any events (default "Peacock") that involve others as Yellow ("Banana"). This makes it really easy to survey!
The GOLDEN rule is to "treat others as YOU would like to be treated". The PLATINUM rule is to "treat others as THEY would like to be treated".
With a more thoughtful approach to dealing with others, it overcomes a surprisingly fixed mindset with an intentional focus on empathy.
