Three minor girls from Nunwani Anantnag are missing since Friday. Request @JmuKmrPolice to intensify their efforts. Anyone with information pertaining to their whereabouts please contact 9797147730 & 6005744659.
My name is Khan. I did everything to appease you, explained myself a hundred times, clarified every word, and still the suspicion remained.
The problem was never what I said; the problem was that they had already decided who I am.
I gave my sweat and blood to nurture the poorest of the poor, dedicated years to educating and empowering students in service of my nation. Yet, in the end, I am remembered more for my name than for my contribution.
And finally, my identity worked harder than my contribution. Years of teaching, mentoring and serving students were pushed aside, while my name became the headline.
And yes, my name is Khan. I am Khan Sir."

What Sonam Wangchuk is to Ladakh, Talib Hussain is to the marginalized community of J&K. We stand in unwavering solidarity with our brother Talib, a selfless leader who has devoted himself not just to his own community, but to every marganalized voice.
With great courage, he has consistently represented the aspirations of the his people, even while facing relentless hardships for decades. A few days ago, while fighting against the Bulldozer Raj affecting his community, that courage cost him his freedom. He has been jailed.
There is hardly any leader in the Gujjar community who comes close to Talib Hussain when it comes to activism & fighting for the rights of his community. While others operated from big houses away from people, Talib stood on the frontlines with his people: in protests, in courtrooms, and in the quiet homes where marganalization & injustice lingers.
He is not just intelligent & articulate leader, but a selfless force who rose among people in poverty & suffocation, not from privileges. Talib's very existence is a symbol of resilience. He is perhaps the only organic politician of Gujjar community with a decade long history of activism, rooted in the suffering & in the struggles of ordinary people.
Every voice of conscience & every politician must acknowledge someone like Talib, must stand with him & must demand his immediate release.
Mufti sahab envisioned & laid the foundation for AIIMS Awantipora in 2015 & today I’m delighted to see his dream come to fruition. Much progress has been made on this crucial institution - a project initiated by the PDP over a decade ago. AIIMS Awantipora has the potential to emerge as one of the leading centres of healthcare, medical education and research in J&K. Request Union Health Minister @JPNadda ji to kindly expedite completion of this vital institution so that quality healthcare services can reach the people of J&K at the earliest. @MoHFW_INDIA
On your birthday @MehboobaMufti Sahiba, I pray for your good health, long life, and continued strength to lead from the front with the same determination and grace.
May you continue to inspire, lead, and serve with unwavering dedication.
Happy birthday 💐 💐💐

Deeply saddened to hear about the demise of the beloved mother of my brother-like friend Bashir Beig Sahb @BashirBeigh3 Media Coordinator JK PDP.
Her loss is not only a personal tragedy for the family but also a moment of grief for all who knew her.
I extend my heartfelt condolences and stand in solidarity with Bashir Beig Sahb and the entire bereaved family in this hour of immense sorrow. May Almighty grant her the highest place in Jannah and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
When @MirMohdFayaz publicly swears on the Quran and throws an open challenge , silence is no longer an option.
Now the burden lies on @tanvirsadiq of NC to come clean before the people of J&K. If there was no covert understanding, then explain honestly where did BJP’s 7 votes for the Rajya Sabha seat come from?
Truth fears no oath. Politics cannot run forever on selective outrage and convenient denials.

The National Conference’s outcry over the Rajya Sabha vote is misplaced. This is not fundamentally about the Rajya Sabha - it serves as a diversion from substantive concerns, notably the Siraj-ul-Aloom controversy and the erasure of Urdu from official records.
It is also important to revisit recent political context.
The National Conference disintegrated the PAGD. It further strained electoral unity by ensuring that the PDP was excluded from the INDIA alliance arrangement during the J&K Assembly elections.
Against this backdrop, it is clear that the PDP did not owe cooperation to the NC. Yet, we extended unconditional support, even while being aware of internal dissent within the National Conference. Hence blaming the PDP for the Rajya Sabha outcome is both inaccurate and counterproductive. The failure, Omar Sahab must realise, lies close to Nawai Subh.
By making these accusations, the NC has responded adversely to the magnanimity of Mehbooba Mufti. She neither abstained - an act that could have indirectly aided the BJP- nor imposed conditions. Her only suggestion was to secure the third Rajya Sabha seat and avoid turning the uncertain fourth seat, declined by Congress, into a blame game.
The Rajya Sabha voting process was open and deliberated, and key decisions - such as appointing agent to three votes - were the responsibility of the National Conference. If their reason for crying foul against the PDP is that the PDP didn’t appoint an agent for its three votes, then may I ask the esteemed CM that what would make him magically trust the PDP-appointed agent if he is not willing to trust the PDP members who voted?
Interestingly, during the Vice Presidential elections, Aga Ruhullah openly stated that the National Conference did not clearly communicate its position to its MPs. Does that mean that the NC is hand and glove with the BJP?
In targeting the PDP, the National Conference has not weakened a rival but has instead undermined the trust extended to it in good faith.
There is a deeper problem as well. Some voices, like the NC’s Kulgam spokesperson, had previously sought to join the PDP after being denied mandate but was denied entry because strategic considerations. Many seniors from the NC continue to meet our party leadership, and she is the one who does not encourage this, believing that any instability is instability for all.
Targeting the PDP risks playing directly into a broader BJP agenda to fracture electoral unity in J&K. If the NC were to implode tomorrow and @OmarAbdullah finds himself needing the support of PDP’s four MLAs to stay afloat, he will face an awkward moment - having to turn to the very legislators and @MehboobaMufti whom he hasn’t stopped bad mouthing ever since he assumed Office.
Omar Sahab, I wish you stability and strength at this critical juncture. Rather than dwelling on the one lost Rajya Sabha seat and attributing blame to the PDP, the government would do well to focus on ensuring that your pre-existing 50 MLAs and 5 MPs deliver effective governance.
One takes solace from the fact that C Vijay & TVK’s stunning victory unlike other states where people chose BJP over regional parties indicates Tamil Nadu picked a secular & progressive alternative instead of opting for a communal divisive party.
Congratulations to @actorvijay for this incredible debut feat. Hope he remains steadfast in upholding the values of social justice, anti caste politics & the rich Tamil tradition of equality, dignity & inclusive progress.
Hello @JKNC_. Do you remember the words of your own MP, @RuhullahMehdi? Just 8 months ago, during the vice presidential elections in the Parliament, he publicly admitted that the NC gave no direction to its own MPs & didn’t issue a whip or appoint an agent.
In that very election, the BJP-led NDA secured 452 votes despite having only 439 members, indicating cross-voting by 13 opposition MPs. So, who did your MP vote for when it mattered? And wasn't Aga Ruhullah's tweet actually a signal to the people of Kashmir? Yes, we remember it.
Today, after 4 months of the Rajya Sabha elections, you are crying "PDP nai agent nahi rakha tha." What rubbish! @MehboobaMufti gave a clear direction to PDPs 3 MLAs & cleared publicly that the parties MLA will vote for the 3rd seat only which you won. Also, you lost the 4th seat by 14 votes, and PDP had just 3, which means PDP had no role in you winning your 4th seat.
Now, I want to ask you: where was your whip or agent during the Vice Presidential elections, when 13 MPs of the INDIA alliance voted for the BJP? Just because you are being questioned and cornered by people, you are escaping by bringing up a 4-month-old issue. This won't save you from public wrath.
Strange that JK CM is casually brushing off an order issued by his own department ‘seeking’ public feedback on the sinister decision to remove Urdu as a mandatory requirement for Revenue Services. Don’t you know the cultural & historical significance of Urdu? How are you even comfortable ‘seeking’ feedback despite knowing the overwhelming sentiment?
Hon’ble CM doesn’t the very act of ‘seeking’ opinion state your intention to initiate the process of striking off Urdu? We won’t let you erase our history.
I don’t need tuitions, I’d much rather you use the same energy on cancelling these shambolic ‘opinion poll’ orders to annihilate Urdu.
Party leader Ms. @IltijaMufti_ staged a protest in Srinagar against the government
to remove Urdu as a mandatory language for revenue records. She termed the decision an attack on the region’s linguistic heritage, stressing that Urdu remains central to J&K’s administrative functioning and cultural identity, and warned that such steps risk alienating people and weakening institutional continuity.
