Phylogenetic patterns of beta-diversity in the response of weed communities to intensification across Europe. Article led by Rafa Molina
Agricultural intensification degrades arable weed diversity into phylogenetically unstructured subsets of tolerant species | Landscape Ecology
New Review: "The impact of thermogenesis on the origin of insect pollination" https://t.co/WSeSYcrz0J
Exploration of the fossil record uncovers the evolutionary history of thermogenic plants, revealing a close relationship with insect pollinators since the Palaeozoic era.
@herbivoryze The post seems fake, yet an actual paper about such idea exists. As a biologist, I hope no publisher buys the idea to make a book out of it: https://t.co/fxQyzH2qGP

This weird alien thing is a whole preserved specimen of Welwitschia mirabilis hosted at @BGM_coll_res. Note the large underground part that cannot be observed in the pics of living plants: most of the body of Welwitschia is in fact a kind of giant carrot!
🌱 Could Homer's moly be an early record of an ethnobotanical complex? Discover the cultural taxon that may have shaped the identity of the mysterious plant through centuries-old oral traditions https://t.co/tKVaW6cVxq
Shading Light on the Enigma of Homer's Moly 🌿 In Book 10 of the Odyssey, the elusive herb moly captivates our imagination. Join us on a journey through time as we challenge the conventional identification of Homer´s moly. #Odyssey#Botany#MolyMystery
The 1980s Pharmacological Thesis Revisited 📚 Decades ago, the snowdrop was proposed as candidate for Homer's moly, inspired by its AChE-inhibiting properties. We question this assimilation and delve into interdisciplinary literature to present a compelling case. #Pharmacology
