@HarryFrost2 @Psychclimatecr1 Around 1988 the media latched onto the term "Global Warming" and that lasted for nearly 2 decades. Then after 2000 the media settled on the term "Climate Change" when the world realized its effect included alot more than just warming of the planet and really is a crisis.

But climate change wasn't coined by the media it is an umbrella term which emerged in 1975 from scientific studies going back decades. Earlier studies of human impact on climate had called it "inadvertent climate modification".
