Breaking: Supreme Court rejects Republicans bid that would have allow states total control over our elections.
John Roberts/Brett Kavanaugh/Amy Coney Barrett sided with the 3 liberal judges.
Clarence Thomas/Samuel Alito/Neil Gorsuch all sided with GOP’s fringe election theory.
@SpeakerMcCarthy Fact: President Biden had nothing to do with the indictment of former President Trump, but you know most of your followers will buy your BS. SHAME!
@mtgreenee The only people that want to defund the highest ranking LAW ENFORCEMENT officers in this country are CRIMINALS and members of CONGRESS who asked for PARDONS.

I don’t think people realize how wealthy people live. Yacht owners have staff on call, including a chef, just to be available when they feel like getting on their toy boat. A Walmart grandkid has a $300M boat docked at an island and when she decides to take the boat out, nearly all the fuel available on the island is used to fill it. Our fiscal problems are not due to 54 year old people on food stamps not working, our debt is due to too many billionaires not paying their fair share.
🚨Kevin McCarthy is to blame for this debt ceiling madness.
Anyone saying differently is lying.
This is a McCarthy manufactured crisis.
He has no other leverage for his disastrous MAGA budget.
McCarthy is so desperate he’s willing to hurt millions of Americans.
It’s a new rock bottom for McCarthy.

👆 RIDICULOUS. The very Republicans who smoothly approved raising the debt limit 49 times under their own presidencies also handed a whopping $1.7 trillion in tax reductions to the richest, catapulting our deficit by $7.8 trillion in a short four years. The outcome? A scant eight miles of a wall that was supposedly to be paid for by Mexico.
Their indifference towards hardworking Americans is clear, and here's the evidence:
The Republican-proposed bill, setting conditions for a debt ceiling increase, would bring about severe cutbacks of nearly $3.6 trillion over the upcoming decade, causing other harmful changes along the way.
A strategy, spearheaded by Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy, is targeting eliminating Medicaid coverage for those in dire need.
Under this McCarthy scheme, more than 10 million individuals in states that broadened Medicaid face a real danger of losing their coverage, essentially leaving them to their own devices.
Speaker McCarthy's bill is also set to constrict the already stringent rules of SNAP, denying food aid to many 18 to 49 year-olds without children at home and without an exemption.
The bill's aim to pull funding from the Inflation Reduction Act's IRS could raise the deficit, essentially giving a free pass to rich tax evaders.
While exonerating wealthy tax evaders of billions, this bill intends to strip the most vulnerable of critical healthcare, food, and financial aid.
The Republicans seem to view the American people as gullible. It's crucial that we correct this misconception in the 2024 elections.
