The Army objected, claiming the land falls under Defence control. The Waqf Board disputes this, saying it is notified Waqf property.

Following the buzz around this unusual film 'Hanuman Ansh' thought of booking tickets for today... but ended up watching with friends yesterday because movies change on Thursday. Confess we knew nothing about Baba or the film.

The theater was full at 4 pm on a weekday! Opening scene spotted @ColHunnyBakhshi and then a simple story unfolded... one that a 'non believer' father was narrating to his curious young son. Got me hooked too

A no-known actors, no vfx movie set in rural India with the most beautiful music.... totally unpretencious and unlike most other films of these times... it seeped into our hearts.

Out of curiosity I just now check if Hanuman Ansh continues in theaters this week too, with new releases and many big budget movies. And yes, every theater in Bengaluru has multiple shows of this Hindi movie!

Respect to @filmervishal and the entire cast and crew for making #HanumanAnsh. It connects to peoples hearts like mithai... and the salty tears that may flow are of joy.

If you want to feel the peace even in chaotic times, go watch it. And take your parents and children along 🙏

Old Monk is NOT rum, according to FSSAI.

FSSAI has asked Old Monk to call itself a “Rum Flavoured Spirit” instead of “Rum”.

This is because instead of using actual rum, Old Monk uses a neutral alcohol spirit as its base, and puts an artificial rum flavour and caramel colour to give it its rum like taste and appearance.

The same thing happens with Indian whiskey. Even though India is the world’s largest consumer of whiskey, a lot of what is sold as whiskey in India isn’t real whiskey.

Many whiskey companies in India also take a neutral alcohol spirit and add artificial whiskey flavouring and caramel colour to it.

And that is also why most Indian spirits are not officially recognized as whiskey in markets like the EU, UK, and US.

Let me make one thing clear. Whether you drink real rum or a rum-flavoured spirit, both are unhealthy. In fact, according to the WHO, no amount of alcohol is completely safe for health.

Note: Old Monk may contain up to 5% actual rum in the neutral alcohol after adding artificial rum flavour and colour.
