I get cross about far too many things these days: politicians, their policies, ignorance, science deniers, coal and smoking industries... you get the idea.
🚨 New billboard in Manchester, UK 🇬🇧
Clear. Bold. Unapologetic.
When people have to rent billboards to say what leaders won’t, that tells you everything.
Well done, Manchester.
@AlboMP Climate change is Australia’s real national security blindspot. AUKUS submarines won’t fix that. Ending coal and gas expansionism will.👇🏽

@AlboMP I’m all for LGBT and gender equality @AlboMP. But how about dealing with the greatest threat facing all of us, especially those who are already marginalised.
Billions of humans will be toast within our kids lifetimes if emissions don’t come down fast.👇🏽

Cruel. Misguided. Heartless. @AlboMP, using your mother’s words to validate the abandonment of Australians in Syria is a disgrace. You’ve misplaced your judgment and your conscience. I’m angry, and I reckon your mother would be right there with me. #RepatriationNow#AusPol
I think Australians are more worried about how gambling advertising is hurting our young people than how a ban could impact sporting codes and media companies.
We need to put people first and implement the Murphy Report’s 3 year phased in ban on all gambling ads.
A small levy on gambling could more than compensate sports and help with this transition.
And no, public support for banning gambling advertising hasn’t softened - only the government’s resolve has.

The thing so many have insisted will never happen has happened.
Anyway, cue the confident explanations for why it still won’t, plus the urgent memo that this doesn’t count.
The gas “crisis” is “not because we don’t have enough gas, but because the gas that comes from beneath Australian soil is prioritised for customers offshore rather than customers onshore”.
Spot on.
