Onam is a celebration of universal harmony, happiness, prosperity, and peace. It demonstrates the primacy of character and conduct over social divisions.
The story tells us that Mahabali is an Asura king, while Vishnu is the king of the Devas—the divine Head. Since the human mind is the abode of both, it contains both divine and demonic tendencies. Yet, because human beings possess the capacity for discernment, when the sense of goodness and justice rises above all these distinctions, it transcends and bridges all such social stratifications.This is the very evidence of the supremacy of character and conduct over ascribed status.

Whether organising movements or serving in government—leadership in both the places must exercise restraint in their language. It is unwise for those in power to
wait for initiating dialogue only after a display of force or power by public.
No Government which has nothing to conceal, should ever remain away from continuous dialogue with people.
However restraint in language is necessary else, manipulative people turn democracy into chaotic mob rule and seize control of the system from behind the scenes. Remember Divinity alone is worthy of remaining behind the scene None else definitely not the charlatans. Both genuine authority and an enlightened citizenry must remain vigilant against such charlatans.#JantarMantar #NEET
