Honored to attend the 360th Basrur Independence Day Celebration, commemorating Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s first naval expedition, organized by Chhatrapati Shivaji Abhimani Balaga, Basrur.

Shivaji Maharaj revitalized Bharat’s naval power, and the Basrur expedition firmly established the Maratha Navy’s dominance and the authority of the Basrur Nayaks over trade.

Today, the Indian Navy is undergoing a historic transformation, with its naval flag and insignia inspired by the Maratha Navy, in line with the Panch Pran of Viksit Bharat, envisioned by Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Chhatrapati Shivaji Abhimani Balaga, Basrur, for preserving and celebrating this glorious legacy!
