@AmitWorldPeace One reason I am apprehensive to ever go back to an EV from Tata Motors even if their cars are great. It's lack of accountability, process and service support. Hideous to say the least.
@AmitWorldPeace My Nexon EV was with their service centre for 6 weeks! They started acting serious only when I made several calls running pillar to post to escalate the issue. I had to pay the EMI of the car loan all the while and spend on cabs/fuel for other car at home.
Touche! I have a nexon EV (30kw) and we got a Grand i10 Nios for those drives that need a petrol car. Overtime, i started cancelling my plans than to use Grand i10 when my EV isn't available. I used the Grand i10 only in unavoidable situations.
@cbe_sam Cars that are great only to be bogged down by sub-par service and support - XEV 9S/9E and Harrier.EV and Sierra.EV (based on early reviews)
Cars that are great but need a larger battery to be eligible for a single car garage - Creta EV and Kia Carens Clavis EV.
Kudos to the effort, I barely remember when was the last time such an initiative was implemented. Now it's time to ensure the efforts don't go in vain.

iPhone Fold Battery Details Leak
Apple's first foldable iPhone is rumored to feature a 4,883mAh dual-cell battery (1,921mAh + 2,962mAh).
Highlights:
• 4,883mAh dual-cell battery
• Larger battery than the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and likely the Galaxy Z Fold 8
• Rumored 2nm A20 Pro chip for improved power efficiency
• Apple's C2 5G modem is also rumored, but not yet confirmed
Apple appears to be prioritizing a slimmer foldable design and better efficiency over maximum battery capacity.
The constant abuse of road rules by @zomato@letsblinkit@Swiggy and @ZeptoNow I see often. It's time government goes hard on them and penalize heavily for violations.
I live in Bengaluru. I leave for badminton every day at 6:40 am. The court is 5 km from my place. In the morning, it does not take more than 10 minutes.
I took the HAL Old Airport Road. Friday morning, the roads were empty. I was riding at roughly 60 km/h. There was a truck about 150m ahead of me, moving slowly in the left lane.
I planned to overtake it from right. I throttled my FZ, and just when I was 50-60m from the truck, it made an abrupt cut to the right.
My heart missed a beat and my reflexes took over. I applied both brakes with full power. Yamaha bikes have crazy braking. My bike stopped 4-5 metres short of the truck.
I was about to curse the truck driver when I saw a Zomato delivery guy on his Yulu, riding on the wrong side. The truck driver had made an abrupt cut to save him.
No wonder India is the road accident capital of the world. Nobody gives a f*ck about rules. If you ride a two-wheeler, pray for your life.
Need more ownership and transparency from manufacturers and insurers. A customer adopting new tech shouldn't be penalised with hidden terms. They are spending their hard earned money trusting they are safe, only to left stranded eventually.
🔋 Can a 7 mm Dent Really Cost You Your EV Battery Warranty?
A customer reportedly lost the battery warranty on a Tata Tiago EV because the dent/scratch on the battery pack measured 7 millimetres (mm), while the warranty reportedly covered damage only up to 5 millimetres (mm).
What kind of warranty is this?
How many EV owners are actually aware of such conditions, and is this policy the same across all EV brands?

@evelectree I feel Harrier.EV lacks any distinctive advantage for being larger and more expensive vehicle. An upgrade is due!
On the contrary, I like how XEV 9s pack two above is positioned. I am more inclined towards that over Sierra.EV
PS: I wish Tata included acoustic glass on Sierra.EV
@evelectree I was quite impressed with the driving comfort of Harrier.EV but someone the rear seating leg space was quite contradicting the size of the car. Not surprised to see Harrier.EV and sierra.EV to have comparable wheelbase.
I feel Sierra.EV might win.
The Sierra is back — and it's electric. ⚡
Tata Motors has officially launched the Sierra EV, reviving one of India's most iconic nameplates on its dedicated acti.ev platform.
Quick specs that stand out:
🔋 Up to 665 km claimed range (75 kWh pack)
⚡ 0-100 kmph in 5.8 seconds
🔌 263 km range added in just 15 mins of fast charging
🛡️ Level 2 ADAS as standard
💰 Starting at ₹18.79 lakh (ex-showroom)
✅ Lifetime battery warranty
With QWD (all-wheel drive), a triple-screen cockpit, JBL Dolby Atmos audio, and a 622L boot + 55L frunk, Tata is clearly positioning the Sierra EV as a serious contender in the premium electric SUV space — nostalgia wrapped around genuinely modern engineering.
