On July 24th, 2024, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified that the FBI was uncertain whether it was the bullet or a fragment that had struck the ear of Donald Trump. This no doubt pissed Donald Trump off, and as a result, the MAGA GOP would have gotten angry phone calls.

Just 48 hours later, on July 26th, 2024, the FBI issued a statement saying it was indeed a bullet that struck Donald Trump's ear.

This is an FBI under the same director who testified that during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh, the FBI forwarded the 4,500 tips it had received about Kavanaugh to the White House, the same White House that was trying to get Kavanaugh confirmed.

Director Wray then went on to testify that when the FBI received those 4,500 tips, they really didn't think it necessary to follow up. They only followed up on a handful, and the White House was monitoring those investigations to make sure they didn't look too deep or too closely.

There are two things that annoy the shit out of me:

1. Conspiracy theories that have been debunked.

2. People who won't probe deeper and ask hard questions for fear of looking like someone promoting a conspiracy theory.

We need more answers.
