🚨Banks will be closed for 14 days in April. Sounds shocking, right?
But here’s the reality 👇
This kind of headline (like the one published by @JagranNews) is highly misleading.
They add up:
→ National holidays
→ State-specific holidays (Kerala, Delhi, etc.)
→ Weekends
and present it as if banks across the entire country will be shut for 14 days straight.
That’s NOT how it works.
👉 A holiday in Kerala doesn’t mean banks in Gujarat or MP are closed.
👉 A regional festival in Tripura isn’t a nationwide shutdown.
👉 Weekends are already known and planned.
In reality, for most people, banks function normally except standard weekends + a few local holidays.
This is not journalism. This is clickbait.
Misleading headlines create unnecessary panic among customers and businesses. People rush to banks thinking services will be unavailable for half the month, which is simply untrue.
If this reporting were accurate, banks would be closed almost 6 months a year!
It’s time media stops prioritizing sensation over facts.
Responsible reporting matters.

Bankers Need to Think Before Blindly Following Strike Calls ❗️
All India strikes called on 12 February and bankers again expected to follow without clarity. Question is simple. Are these strikes really for banking issues or just to show existence of big nationwide unions?
What is the clear plan. What is the roadmap. What is the outcome expected. Nobody explains to ground level bankers. Only announcements come and frontline staff are forced to sacrifice one day salary every time.
If unions are serious then where is strategy.
One day strike every year achieves nothing if government is not listening.
Why not planned escalation like three days five days seven days with clear demands and accountability?
Bankers lose salary every strike. Other departments often do not face the same direct financial impact. And when bankers went on strike on 27 January how many other sectors stood with bankers? Very few.
Time has come for bankers to think.
Why to go. Why not to go.
Demand clarity before sacrifice.

Parents at this stage should focus primarily on personal growth, play, and career foundations. Discussions about partners should be delayed until greater maturity. Early education on good touch versus bad touch is vital for safety, this couple needs to learn parenting first before lecturing others.
