When it was time to leave, I just asked his name and walked away. No contacts exchanged. Just one of those brief, unexpected connections that make travel memorable.
Reached Delhi airport 3 hours early for my Goa flight. Finished check-in and security quickly and went to the lounge. The receptionist assumed the guy ahead of me and I were travelling together and approved both our entries.
We found a table in the crowded lounge, took turns getting food, and started talking. Turns out we both had lived in Bangalore, so the conversation naturally flowed — college, cities, travel, life.

to be enough, without proving. to be remembered, without reminding. to be trusted, without questioning. to be held, without asking. to be accepted without conditions. to be loved, without reasons and to be without fear.
to be seen, without performing. to be heard, without screaming. to be missed, without leaving. to be noticed, without trying. to be understood, without explaining. to be chosen, without competition. to be safe, without hiding.
I ordered an overpriced coffee and a burger. Sat there eating slowly, watching cars pass by, people running through the rain, streetlights flickering on, and me wondering, what an evening, where I did nothing, but felt everything.
And there I was, sitting alone under a tree on the beach, letting the rain fall, listening to it, watching it. The ocean didn’t fight the rain, it welcomed it.
After sometime, I went running to a nearby african restaurant. I didn’t want to catch a fever in a foreign country.
