@Jordanmelds I only have a quest 2 that gets at best occasional use. Might look into upping to a kevin at some point if I end up upgrading to the quest 3
@blind_via Compute module carrier with your own PHY + other HW is a pretty good project for doing fun hw and sw work. Linux kernel stuff is decidedly out of my wheelhouse but Claude code makes me dangerous
@blind_via My dad bought a raspberry pi when I was a wee zoomer to run XBMC but it was too weak to run well so he handed it off to me to fuck around with. I made it do web server things. It was enlightening
@blind_via I don’t think this is necessarily true. But I understand where you’re coming from. Most companies look for Altium experience in this current moment but things will start to skew towards KiCad. Especially as KiCad improves and Altium begins to burn through enough customer goodwill
