@Alfayaz11 , I called DTB and unless depositing cash, you indeed do need a DTB cheque to deposit into their DTB account. Same goes for all the other listed banks. Apparently that's the directive they were issued by SHA ๐
Again, none of this info was shared beforehand! Smh
This gets even better! My messenger took our Cheque payment for SHIF but the banks that SHIF have indicated have refused to accept the cheque and only accept Cheque payment if it is Cheque drawn form their bank ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ
This means they will not accept my Cheque payment from another bank, the other options is cash or Mpesa
Seriously WTF is wrong with us.
@dijawithlove@suusuu____ Kujeni kipande hii. Loool
P.s. it will never end. Ni kama they have software updates every 3-5 business days. Every stage they graduate comes with its own vituko ๐
One thing out of this whole DP fiasco is that by Ruto misusing his presidential powers and the constitution to get what he wants, he is also showing us that NO ONE is safe. Those hyenas in parliament helping him are too foolish and think they are safe. A time will come...
We need to support our medical practitioners, not push them to their limits (including su*cide ๐). Advocate for policies that enable them to focus on providing care without the added stress of taxation from every corner!
How foolish!
Private Doctors are already paying PAYE + substantial amounts of VAT on life-saving medical consumables, which they are often forced to import for their small clinics/units. When you factor in foreign exchange rates, they're literally on their knees.
Treasury CS has his eyes on professionals:
"We have so many professionals across the country...private doctors, there are lawyers, there are accountants, there are all kinds of professionals, including engineers. Very few of them pay taxes as required"
The government has announced that all pay bills, including Lipa na M-Pesa and till numbers, will be treated as electronic tax receipts.
This move aims to increase the number of taxpayers starting December 25, 2024.
Thanking God for making it safely to Naivasha after a horrific experience driving here, missed three deadly accidents by a whisker. The authorities really need to enforce the law, PSV and private motorists are driving recklessly playing with death. They overtake on blind spots, bends, coming in the opposite direction Ona climbing hill, over-speeding, Boda bodaโs over loaded with goods crossing on the highway in the opposite direction. I was impressed by the discipline of the Heavy duty trucks who stuck on the left lane. We have a serious national problem on our roads and at if we keep going in this direction we will see more accidents and loss of lives. I may have got lucky but a friend in our convoy got hit by a drunk driver, luckily it was not so serious but it could have been worse. I would gladly share the footage from my dash cam with the authorities for them to see the kind of havoc that is there on our roads.
We really need to bring back sanity on our roads, the late Michuki must be turning in his grave.
Hii safari ya revolution tutafika kama tumechoka juu heh.
Anyways know why you're in the revolution for yourself. Changing this country has to be personal to you. Because the personal is always political.
