@bronzebust i mean, point is: 'nature' is subjective
if youre saying you need mountains and salt water, ok say that
but to say Chicago/IL/upper midwest dont have access 'real nature' isnt accurate
cuz i'd take Prairieland and Great Lakes 3rd coast over either ocean or mountains EVERY day
@bronzebust real nature? you mean West Virgnia? been there
anyone on the coasts (or denver) is driving hours to get to real nature. if thats the case: dunes, matteson, or basically anywhere on wisco or MI coast would get the job done for 90% of folks
@AJManaseer not necessarily worried about this dude specifically
more worried that the moderate lane - Alexi/Susana/Quigley/Pappas - gets too crowded and divides voters, allowing another socialist to sneak in
@MikeNellis i actually dont mind it, overall
my biggest pet peeve is that frosted glass column... ugh looks like an airport bathroom
cant they put some letter over it like above, or make it stained glass or something
ANYTHING but frosted
really cheapens the effect IMO
@unnamedbutalone biggest difference i see is that lack of covered seating on the outdoor stadiums
it really opens the light, and creates less shadows
never understood why europe insists on covering all the seats
@lacherbauer@ChicagosMayor@RahmEmanuel@chicagobars anecdotally: talked with some out-of-towners at the restaurant show a couple weeks ago and:
I think we are getting a lot of tourists who DON'T want to go the world cup cities at the moment
not everyone loves a crowd: and honestly, socceroos can be annoying
@publicpolicyman brother i'm on your side, but let's not be partisan about biz
are you gonna also post all the openings too?
cuz there is some dope stuff dropping out here

west loop for office makes NO sense
PIA daily commute from the CTA, Union & LaSalle St metra station. only Ogilvie is doable
way to limit your talent pool
