Not everything is about religion. Cost, food logistics and scale matter also.
If protein is the issue soy chunks win hands down.
• Dry soya chunks don’t need refrigeration. Eggs do.
• Soya chunks have a longer shelf life.
• Eggs require peeling, adding labour costs in large-scale kitchens.
• While soya chunks may cost more upfront than eggs in some markets, once refrigeration, labour & shelf life are factored in, they can be more economical.
• Other ppl vegetarian protein sources are significantly more expensive.
• Peanuts are another affordable option, providing ~14–15 protein per 50 g serving.

When you’re feeding thousands daily, procurement isn’t only about nutrition.

Bro is a certified home-track bully who won't survive five minutes outside Asian conditions. Put him on a green top in Perth or a swinging track at Lord's and he’s walking back to the pavilion before the powerplay ends.

We went to buy a new family car today.

Just requested the showroom to deliver it before 17 May because Malmas starts after that.

And the salesman literally mocked us for following our traditions.

He said: You people are educated yet still believe in these things? Thousands buy cars during Malmas too.

Imagine insulting a customer just because he respects his culture.

My father stayed calm and said: Being modern does not mean abandoning traditions.

But the salesman kept arguing.

So we cancelled the booking right there and took our money back.

India is becoming so modern that now people feel ashamed of their own culture, festivals and beliefs.

Respecting traditions is now called backwardness.

This mentality is more dangerous than illiteracy.

Eating in restaurants is anyway a western concept. Our previous generation cooked at home. Everyone ate & spent time together. Not only it was healthy but it also increased unity in the family. One reason marriages are breaking nowadays is ppl order online at least thrice a week. I welcome this move.
