Time to move on.
I joined the Industries Department on 4th march 2022. It has been a satisfying stint of almost 2.5 years.
With contribution of all team members, we focused on making Bihar one of the attractive investment destinations, and achieved success to some extent. There is still a long distance to go, but the start has been made. I am sure Bihar will emerge as a manufacturing hub of the country in coming days.

From Startups to MSMEs, from MMUY to Handicrafts, the department has unimaginable diversity. Of course, I could not do justice to many of them but I tried my best.
Thank you team Industries, from senior officers to young asst directors, from IEOs to consultants and from IDA engineers to BIADA officers. And thank you investors, large and small, who trusted us and made a beginning. It was really an honour to work with all of you.

Government of Bihar today approved the Bihar Export Promotion Policy 2024 for goods manufactured in the state. 1% of export value as incentive and !% additional incentive for increasing exports more than 50% from last year. This policy will help textile, food processing, leather, handicrafts and other sectors.
